Centennial Lending, LLC is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) that is fully owned and operated by credit unions:

Norlarco Credit Union, Premier Members Federal Credit Union and Warren Federal Credit Union organized Centennial Lending for the purpose of providing commercial, construction and residential mortgage lending services to their members and to members of other credit unions that have limited experience or options available for these types of financing.

In January 2004, SunCorp Corporate Credit Union made the decision to invest in Centennial Lending and became the 4th owner of the CUSO. SunCorp's investment helped Centennial Lending provide additional services and enhance our ability to compete in the marketplace.

Centennial Lending purchased another CUSO providing residential mortgage lending services, United Members Mortgage, in August of 2004. Due to the acquisition of United Members Mortgage we were able to offer ownership to another Credit Union. In October of 2004, Colorado United Credit Union became the 5th owner. Bellco Credit Union in Denver, CO also saw the benefit of owning a thriving CUSO and became Centennial Lending's 6th Owner in July 2006.

Centennial Lending's Administrative and Commercial / Construction office is located on the west side of Longmont, Colorado. All of the CUSO's Residential Mortgage requests are handled at an additional office located in east Longmont, CO. Centennial Lending has Commercial Lending Officers housed in partner credit unions in Lincoln, NE and Denver, CO and a Residential Lending Officer is originating requests in Cheyenne, WY. All loan decisions are handled locally, so decisions are quick and efficient, and allow for optimal flexibility.

The staff at Centennial is well experienced, and comes from varied credit union and commercial banking backgrounds, including many years of experience in mortgage, construction and commercial lending, servicing and administration. Centennial's staff also has years of lending experience in their respective markets; this gives us valuable insight into the requests we receive and helps us stay competitive.

Centennial Lending is able to handle commercial, construction and mortgage loans from the inquiry and application phase through approval, and finally to closing and servicing. Centennial does this as an agent for our owner Credit Unions and for a number of our partner credit unions.

Our partner credit unions take advantage of varying levels of Centennial's services. For some we handle complete loan requests as mentioned above, for some we simply provide assistance in underwriting loans, or servicing of loans; or for others, only with participation of loans.

In addition to providing needed lending expertise to credit unions and credit union members, Centennial provides an outlet for these and other credit unions through loan participations. Due to some fairly restrictive regulatory requirements, an individual credit union may not be able to lend all the money necessary to a member for one large commercial loan request. Centennial is able to close the loan for the originating credit union by participating portions of the loan among other credit unions.
